RECRUITING TALENT• Responsible for meeting the staffing goals for a flagship NYC location and, during peak hiring period supporting the entire NYC, Westchester & LI markets.• Develops and implements improved recruitment processes for external and internal candidates, setting up hiring managers for success through sourcing strategies based on market demands and key staffing priorities.• Manages communication between stakeholders in different markets to address hiring needs and connect them with talent.• Plans and executes talent initiatives including college fairs, employee referral program and LinkedIn efforts.TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT• Analyzes training needs and executes plans to roll out training programs in consultation with department managers.• Analyzes employee performance management and standardizes systems across departments to ensure consistency.• Strategizes with internal departments to meet Apple diversity initiatives.EMPLOYEE EXPERIENCE & RELATIONS• Leads the rebranding of the HR team as the Talent Team to emphasize approachability and broader scope of HR portfolio into all aspects of employee experience.• Serves as a primary point of contact for staffing, scheduling, benefits, time & attendance for 400 employees at a NYC flagship location.• Innovates, manages and executes the on-boarding experience for both internal and external candidates.• Conducts employee exit interviews to perform retention analysis.• Analyzes internal employee survey system to improve employee conditions and work/life balance.BEST PRACTICES• Manages HRIS systems to ensure employee data is up to date and compiles reports for finance dept.• Partners with Sr. leadership to ensure best practices are met in relation to state labor law and company policy.• Manages sexual harassment and conduct compliance training to ensure staff is up to date with latest policies.• Manages employee investigations in regard to any policy violations, including property and time theft.

• Supervises the Genius Bar’s talent planning strategy (including internal and external on-boarding of new hires).• Translates store’s legacy of success into team buy-in and motivation for new initiatives (i.e., new repair offerings, pilot programs, customer satisfaction strategies).• Restructures daily leadership responsibilities to meet current customer needs across the business.• Provides senior leadership with recommendations for improvement as a result of customer and employee data analysis and metrics.

• Newly assumed the Scheduling role while simultaneously launching one of the company’s premiere flagship locations.• Became responsible for, and integral to, the logistical success of the flagship store’s grand opening, staffing levels and reservation/queue management, all while under the company-wide transition to a newly customized scheduling infrastructure.
