Worked with a team of other detailed special agents and support staff to manage, coordinate, and instruct investigative training programs designed for the over 11,000 Special Agents and others employed by over 60 different federal OIGs. As Program Manager for the IG Investigator Training Program (ITP) and others, duties included the development, design, and scheduling of one- to four-week training programs, as well as individual courses lasting one to four hours each; presentation of over 80 individual blocks of instruction to over 30 different classes totaling more than 600 basic and advanced students; and management of over 10 classes totaling over 200 basic and advance students. In addition to course presentation and development, facilitated the learning of assigned table groups, teams, and individuals by observing and providing feedback during practical exercises. Major accomplishment included the re-design of the current IG ITP through task analysis, elimination of training redundancies, and a focus on the development of new and necessary skills. The result was the reduction of the IG ITP from four weeks in FY04 to three in FY05, equaling a projected savings of almost 4,600 training hours.
