While being deeply involved in developing and sustaining the desktop virtualization management project vWorkspace I have been able to hone my development and debugging skills by tracking issues across multiple server and client components with very complex relationships.By taking ownership of one of the core features of the vWorkspace project, Universal Printing, and working closely with support, QA and management I have consistently improved the quality of the product while updating the code to be compatible with the newest technologies and customer environments. The diversity of this product has given me the chance to work with a number of different technologies including C#, C++, WPF, Asp.Net MVC, SQL and Powershell. While the complex configuration of the product and it's myriad of use cases has allowed me to learn about the wide range of enterprise environments.

In the years before Quest Software was acquired by Dell I worked on a web front end for the Archive Manager email archiving product.I redesigned parts of the user interface using Classic Asp.Net and JQuery and worked on the internationalization of the product.Working on other projects that were not released allowed me to cut my teeth on technologies such as Silverlight and WPF.Once Quest acquired the vWorkspace product I moved over to that team and was responsible for rewriting the web portal front end client for the product and the server side management console.I ported the web portal from VB.Net and Classic Asp.Net to C# and Asp.Net MVC with Jquery making it 10 times faster in the process.While porting the desktop management console portion of the product from VB6 to WPF with C# I learned the ins and outs of desktop app development on the Windows platform.Working with the first class team that was brought together in this office I learned cutting edge practices like agile and test driven development.
