Tony is an ADR Group Accredited Mediator and has been trained as an advocate in mediation by CEDR. He has recently mediated to a successful conclusion disputes relating to party walls, rights of way and adverse possession. He has represented clients in a large number of successful mediations including disputes over forfeiture of commercial premises, mortgages, insurance (fire, critical illness and life policies), and sale of goods (international and credit sales). To mediation he brings experience as both an advocate and decision maker. Whether as mediator or advocate, he is committed to careful preparation to achieve the best outcome.

From 1st July 2013 Deputy Adjudicators to HM Land Registry and Lawyer Chairmen in the Residential Property Tribunal Service became Judges of the First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber). Tony will still appear as an advocate in the Land Registration division of that Chamber and in the Residential Property division outside the Midlands region.

From 1st July 2013 as a a Lawyer Chairman Tony became a Judge of the First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber). As Tony sits on the Midland panel, he does not appear in this Tribunal in that area. He does, however, advise and appear regularly in related actions in the County Court. For example, he has recently appeared in a case concerning the validity of an enfranchisement notice, and has advised on the recovery of disputed service charges. He also appears in the Property Chamber of the First Tier Tribunal in other regions, including a recent case on forfeiture heard in Cheltenham.
