I conducted undergraduate research alongside a graduate student in a heat transfer lab. My research mainly consisted on working with PDMS samples that have a wicked surface on a micro structure and dropping fluids into the wicked structure at different temperatures to find the longest time it takes before it evaporates. The purpose of this research was to use these PDMS samples in electronic devices, such as smartphones and computers, in order to elongate battery life.
