Seventeen years ago in the back corner of a Panera Bread on Ogden Ave in Chicago, a new business plan was being crafted to support manufacturers in the ecommerce space. For most brands, Amazon was still a bookstore, and online sales represented somewhere between 0-3% of their total business. We weren’t sure if anyone would pay attention to the channel and partner with us, but eventually a few brands did come along, and through positive word of mouth, those few brands turned into dozens.
