I love writing. There are never-ending opportunities to learn a new types of writing and apply tactics from one kind of writing to another. Heck, even typing this silly about section on LinkedIn is an exercise in drafting, editing and (almost) perfecting. Thus far in my career, I’ve been fortunate to write copy and tell stories in a slew of different contexts.These include interviewing trade school alumni to share their tales of career renaissances to highlighting why one might want to consider becoming an electrician. I’ve talked with mental health professionals about self care in hopes of relaying the message to someone who needs it most. Fundraising letters and grant applications are persuasive essays and I’ve written them, too. In my latest chapter, I build product description page content to help CPG brands reach the customers who are looking for their products across countless online retailers but don’t even know it yet. Writing is my bread and butter and it is my multimedia skill set separates me from other strategic communications professionals. My experiential portfolio is also features video creation, video editing and audio projects. These experiences forged a foundation of confidence that would be an asset to any team, from a crew working on a small independent documentary to a production staff of the next big podcast or perhaps the countless other opportunities out there in marketing, media and entertainment. Storytelling is the through line of my career and my life. Thoughtful and intuitive, I strive to push myself beyond the rigid mold of convention.
