I'm someone that learns very rapidly and has had an extremely wide range of experiences. I've worked on (and with) a number of startups and am comfortable wearing every hat in an engineering department. I've served in roles ranging from systems programmer to CTO. I've designed clusters of Linux systems, written server-side software in languages ranging from C to Scala, developed small to medium-scale mobile apps for both iOS and Android, acted as a DBA, and run entire engineering departments ranging in size from 3 to 35. I've taught agile practices and run apprenticeship programs. I am an expert-level trainer, and write excellent technical documentation.I can adapt to any environment, and understand that the demands of a startup are usually very different from those of a mature team.I currently run my own consulting company and maintain the open-source React-based web development library Fulcro for Clojure(script).
