In his current role at Safran Cabin, Huntington Beach, California, he oversees global innovation, technology development, and all new product development/introduction (NPD/NPI) for cabin interior solutions in both line fit and aftermarket markets.He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado, a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington, and an MBA from the University of Colorado. Additionally, he has completed executive education at Harvard Business School.Before joining Safran in 2019, Vaughan served as Vice President of Engineering at Parker Hannifin’s Motion Systems Group, where he led global technology, innovation, and NPD efforts for high-power density hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical products and systems, as well as the group’s IoT and electrification strategy.From 2016-2019, Vaughan was Director of Engineering for the Industrial Sector at Eaton Corporation, where he managed global engineering efforts in software, electronics, modeling, and simulation, ensuring product reliability, safety, and development across various divisions. Prior to Eaton, he held leadership roles in Eaton’s Aerospace Group, including Director of Engineering for the Fluid and Electrical Distribution Division.Vaughan began his career in 1991 at The Boeing Company in Seattle, Washington, and later held senior leadership roles at Cobham, PLC, where he was Vice President of Engineering for the Aerospace Systems Group.
