Design and commissioning of HVAC systems, tunnel ventilation and vertical transportation systems at Holland Tunnel, Lincoln Tunnel, GWB, and PA Bus Terminal. Developed capital plans and budget to ensure reliable operation of mission critical systems. Managed the mechanical design for WTC Site Redevelopment after 9/11. Responsible for the design upgrades for the PATH system to enhance system reliability and safety. Recruited as a trainee in 1985 and advanced to Senior Mechanical Engineer with progressive positions and responsibilities. Developed expertise in the design of central plants, tunnel ventilation, pipe stress analysis, HVAC design for transportation centers, commercial buildings and data centers. In the aftermath of the 1993 Bombing of the original WTC, responsible for the design and procurement of a 22,000-ton temporary outdoor chiller plant, restoration of the permanent 59,000-ton central chiller plant utilizing Hudson River for condensing and free-cooling. Developed an original computer program for the design of the roadway ventilation system for Holland and Lincoln Tunnels and prescribed fan sequencing to support life-safety and egress in the event of a tunnel fire. Developed the emergency ventilation fan sequencing and life-safety protocol for PATH tunnels and stations network utilizing SES and CFD analysis.
