Current- Proficient in using and calibrating Power meters and sensors, synthesizers, generators, electronic counters, RF measurement receivers, amplifiers, fixed attenuators from 1KHz to 50GHz, PXI cards, oscilloscopes, complex impedance, complex resistors, high end multimeters, power supplies and mechanical equipment.-17025 Certification and understanding of metrology principles such as measurement uncertainties and test uncertainty ratios.- Perform advanced trouble shooting to… Show more - Proficient in using and calibrating Power meters and sensors, synthesizers, generators, electronic counters, RF measurement receivers, amplifiers, fixed attenuators from 1KHz to 50GHz, PXI cards, oscilloscopes, complex impedance, complex resistors, high end multimeters, power supplies and mechanical equipment.-17025 Certification and understanding of metrology principles such as measurement uncertainties and test uncertainty ratios.- Perform advanced trouble shooting to determine root cause of equipment malfunction and provide recommendations for corrective action. Versed in component level repair and reading and interpreting electronic circuit schematics.-Maintain and execute internal calibration of standards.-Connect with customers and tailor onsite to needs of each individual customer.-Create and modify calibration procedures and data sheets by determining metrology requirements from manufacture’s manuals, laboratory methods, or systems requirements.-Communicate effectively and accurately with internal and external functions, including metrology laboratorypersonnel, instrument builders, work unit supervisors, manufacturing engineers, design engineers, IT and shipping and receiving.
