I am a junior software developer driven by a passion for coding and technology. I consider myself an enthusiastic and dedicated learner which has driven my experience in working with various teams and programming languages. My journey in the computer science industry began during high school, where I learned HTML/CSS and JavaScript to create websites, igniting my interest in programming. This curiosity led me to pursue a degree in Computer Science at the University of North Texas, where I formalized my coding education through the C/C++ languages, while also mastering essential tools in development such as GitHub and SQL. Collaborating with peers on various projects taught me the importance of teamwork and meeting deadlines, as well as the importance of keeping track of documentation and communication along the way.During my college summers, I partook in internships at the University of Texas at Austin, where I immersed myself in computational tools used in research and geosciences, including Python, Machine Learning, and MATLAB. These experiences culminated in an independent research project where I developed machine learning models in Python to predict CO2 storage capacity of subsurface reservoirs, showcasing my ability to apply programming concepts to real-world challenges. Now, with over a year of hands-on experience in the industry, I'm eager to continue my growth as a developer, leveraging my skills to contribute meaningfully to innovative projects while collaborating with teams.
