In July 2021 I became Chair of the Board while we work on our Strategy and consolidate the next phase of our work. We seek to ensure that birth in Sierra Leone marks a beginning and not an end and to ensure that nobody dies in childbirth. I ended my role as Chair of the Board in January 2023; and have resumed my position as a Member of the Board of Directors of the AMF. We are now partnering with other organisations in Sierra Leone to promote maternal health in the country.
