Profile bio

About Sasha Martin

While raising institutional funds at PPNorCal in a post-Roe v. Wade environment, I have seen firsthand how far grant dollars go toward driving health equity and supporting essential services. In FY23, because the Institutional Team tripled the total grant dollars awarded compared to previous fiscal years, PPNorCal launched life-changing programs, including our dedicated uncompensated care fund, Community Health Worker program, and telehealth medication abortion. By increasing the number of proposals submitted per fiscal year from 50 to over 80 (including over 30 new and previously lapsed prospects) and implementing grantor cultivation/stewardship efforts, we can expect to sustain this new and expanded programming that would otherwise not be possible through general operating support alone. I am thrilled to be a part of the Planned Parenthood Northern California team as the Sr Manager of Institutional Giving, driving grant and communications strategy. I believe in active community engagement and volunteer for W.O.M.A.N Inc as an intimate partner violence (IPV) survivor support-line volunteer weekly.

Listed skills include Infertility, Anthropology, Cultural Anthropology, Social Anthropology, and 41 others.
