Any creativity should not be separated from marketing. The one who thinks otherwise is a fool who doesn't see beyond his nose and too busy with caressing own ego and "unique" perception. If you design a product that people need, it will be beautiful by default. There is nothing in nature that is beautiful only for a beauty without any purpose and it should be the same in the design. This is my summary, if someone doesn't like it, I'm not holding anyone and I'm not going to convince anyone either. Go create some art.
