As a Small Business Resilience Mentor, I collaborated with the Victorian Government, Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), and Impactiv8 to deliver a tailored business mentoring program. This initiative aimed to guide small businesses through the intricate challenges posed by COVID-19 restrictions.Throughout a 6-week contract, I facilitated 70 two-hour individual mentoring sessions for 25 business owners. By leveraging my expertise, I assisted these entrepreneurs in making informed decisions about their business's future. These sessions proved particularly valuable for businesses that had to adapt to extended lockdowns, restructure their workforce, or transform their entire business model due to the pandemic.A key aspect of my role was enhancing digital literacy and engagement strategies. I closely collaborated with business owners, providing hands-on guidance to boost their digital presence and expand into new customer segments and markets.My contribution significantly contributed to driving business recovery and resilience. By aligning with the program's objectives, my contract played a pivotal role in offering free mentoring to eligible business owners. This not only extended crucial assistance but also fostered a supportive environment for businesses to thrive amidst unprecedented challenges.

I founded Image Direct in 2002. Image Direct began as a leading edge digital print and copy supplier. As I grew the business I built a design team and added online and website services in 2005 and moved the business to a custom built modern premises that was twice the size.By this time the capital assets were over $300K and the business had substantial large design & print contracts.In 2008 we started developing mobile sites and became the first business to commercially sell iPhone/iPad apps in Gippsland. Following our Bendigo Bank Gippsland Business award win in 2009, I brought on a business partner and I split my role to focus on Account Management & Production. In May 2011 I sold my remaining share to my business partner and left a flourishing digital marketing business that is Google Adwords certified.
