The company’s plant in Belfast specialises in manufacturing cylinder heads for Ford, Peugeot-Citroën and General Motors (1.4 million units a year).My role as a Process Development Engineer :• Quality follow-up during production launch phase• Pilot for 8D Problem Solving / Design of Experiments trials on critical internal and customer quality issues• Planned and coordinated the homologation activities of new tooling / equipment• Organized the daily activities of the team during development phase (10 ops)• Increased new equipment productivity by improving process efficiency to meet Run-at-Rate requirements – Validated by customer
