Final Thesis work on the design and development of a composting plant in the town of “Rachaya Al-Foukhar”, as part of a large Waste Management project, lead by Professors Mario Grosso and Francesca Villa, demonstrating strong prospects for funding from the European Union.Accounted for the management of day-to-day operations, including waste stream analysis, technology selection, terrestrial ecology and regulatory compliance, to reach large amounts of compost for agricultural farmers in the area.Implemented ACT, rainwater collection systems and renewable energy sources to maximize efficiency and minimize environmental impact.Dealt with logistical challenges by implementing innovative solutions for guaranteeing uninterrupted plant operations.

Lead a team of 4 engineers to assess the impact of inadequate pollution control and resource management on water quality in a southern town, with a special emphasis on the environmental impact of wastewater leakages into the two artificial agricultural ponds of the town, in order to treat the main input sources causing pollution.Study findings were intended for submission to German authorities for comprehensive environmental assessment and regulatory consideration.

Participated in an initiative organized by the “Ministry of Energy and Water” in collaboration with LCEC (Lebanese Center for Energy Conservation), during which I successfully secured funding from “Dar El Handasah” to represent the company in the competition.Lead the team of 5 engineers to successfully build a solar boat out of scratch by coordinating between different stakeholders, proudly securing the 2nd place with a large budget disadvantage.

Participated in on-site inspections for construction progress reports and identification of potential issues, to mitigate errors by on-site workers and maintain project efficiency.Provided input on the selection of materials based on cost considerations, performance metrics, quality, and sustainability by actively exploring and identifying new eco-friendly and cost-efficient construction products, such as integrating innovative recycled composite materials for exterior cladding solutions.
