• Position enables a broad understanding of treatment modalities used with substance abuse, mood disorder, and thought disorder clientele• Refers clients to various community agencies• Explores basic personality structures in abusive relationships, the mechanisms and symptoms of the specific adjustment problem and its underlying causes and consequences to the individual, couple, and family• Conducts clinical assessments of individuals with substance abuse, mood disorder, and thought disorder clients• Discuss behavior responsibility, motivation and attitudes in achieving redirected behavior for substance abuse and mood disorder clients utilizing group and individual therapies• Provides assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for psychological illness through social case work and individual, group, family, and marital psychotherapy, consultation, education, prevention, and environmental manipulation to promote maximum benefits from the services provided• Prepares, manages, and maintains client case records • Establish and present prevention support services for the population • Attend, present and complete necessary documentation for case management team meetings
