I am inspired to make a positive impact on the lives of students and teachers alike. With a strong motivation to help students with learning disabilities, particularly dyslexia. I have pursued a career in teaching, learning, and development in education.Once I graduated with my degree, I transitioned and moved to Xian, China where I spent the next two years teaching English to ESOL students. Eventually, I transitioned back to the states and restarted my teaching career and then moved into becoming an Reading interventionist. My two-year teaching experience in China has enriched my perspective and honed my skills as an educator. I am proud to have created strong relationships with my students and their families, and I value the importance of fostering a supportive learning environment.Overall, As a passionate and experienced learning and development professional, I have dedicated over 9 years of my career to creating transformational, generational impact through my work supporting youth and families in both educational and non-profit organizations. My goal is to cultivate structured, fair, and consistent environments where students feel heard, understood, and empowered to shine.I excel in creating engaging and effective professional development sessions, both virtual and in-person, for individual, small, and large group training for adult educator development.
