My interest in economics began at a young age, and although much has changed since then, my passion for economics is stronger than ever.Currently, I am in my second year of the Bachelor's program in Business and Economics at Lund University. The program is broad, but my specialization is in accounting and finance, where I combine courses from various faculties. This allows me to gain a deep understanding of accounting and auditing, as well as finance and its interactions. In later terms, I will also supplement my studies with courses from Copenhagen Business School, providing an additional unique perspective to my educational profile.For almost 2 years now, I have also been running my own business, primarily in the restaurant industry. I have extensive experience ranging from simple bistros to hotels and fine dining at Michelin level. Although it is not a future profession for me, it remains a great interest, and I enjoy cooking in my spare time. Running a company has been fundamental to my knowledge in entrepreneurship, accounting, and economics. Additionally, it has helped me develop many other important skills, and above all, my entrepreneurial perspective is something I apply both in school, at work, and in life.I also spend some of my time as a lecturer at Ung Privatekonomi - an organization with a mission to educate, inspire, and motivate high school students about personal finance. Besides being extremely enjoyable, it has also helped me develop skills such as rhetoric, pedagogy, and public speaking.
