Anton is an innovative and strategic industrial entomologist, specialized in Black Soldier Fly (BSF) production for food, feed and non-food applications. Anton has a background in Environmental Biology and Technological and Socio-Economic Planning, as well as experience in working with insect biology, circular economy, waste management, sustainability and project management. Anton has managed and been involved in a series of R&D projects (RECIPE, FlyScent, WICE4Soil, WICE, inVALUABLE) and commercial assignments in bio-converting organic residual streams into insect biomass under the principles of circular economy. Moreover, I was the main driver in validating the production of BSF larvae reared on side streams during the BIOCAS project, and in developing a business model for a factory design.
