For the last ten years, I've been working on enterprise job costing software. We help companies estimate their project costs on a time and material basis. In my role, I cover multiple areas, including development, marketing strategy and business decision making. I've also assisted our company in passing many security and architecture audits from Hewlett & Packard, Hypr (Callaghan) and Quanta.I'm also bootstrapping Ocerra AP automation software from the ground up. Ocerra is an AI-driven, accounts payable automation software. My experience in software development allows me to bring the finest ingredients into this solution.I started my career in the late nineties as a Software Developer for an oil research company with a degree in scientific research. My solid background in math and physics was a great helping hand to complete my bachelor’s degrees in Geophysics and Computer Science. However, the dot-com boom helped me to realise all the different opportunities in foreign markets in business-related solutions for insurance and warranty automation.I am committed to continuous upskilling in the areas of software testing and development. This includes keeping myself abreast of and incorporating concepts such as TDD, BDD, continuous integration and code contracts into my programming. I have completed projects in the .NET framework, .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET MVC, EF, LINQ, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, Python and TensorFlow as an independent developer as well as a team lead.
