- Rearchitected Wedo.lu using modern development practices- Overhauled Wedo's development and technical operations entirely

- Design and development of intuitive UI using the latest web technologies (VueJS and AngularJS)- Conceptualisation and implementation of server-side backends and APIs (Node.js express/koa, PHP Symfony).- Design and execution of unit-, integration and acceptance tests.- Continuous deployment of our applications using Capistrano and Jenkins.From time to time I also do DevOps work, when such intervention is required:- Manual and automated installation, provisioning and management of Unix systems (mostly Debian Linux) in physical and virtualized environments- Configuration and optimization of high availability setups in the cloud or on bare metal, dedicated hardware- Extending and improving on existing puppet modules and manifests- Controlling access and securing environments using iptables and squid- Monitoring vitals of our and our customers' systems using tools like icinga2, collectd, grafana and graylog- Setting up VPN tunnels using SSL-secured OpenVPN technology- Authoring and maintaining procedure and process documentation- Development of custom in-house FLOSS tools- Linux System Administration- Setup and maintenance of continuous deployment pipelines (Capistrano, Jenkins)

Here I got my first experience of working in a team, which I enjoyed. Academic environment was a nice and rewarding place to work in (actually any contact with masters is rewarding in itself, because it allows for growth).I developed and maintained a desktop/mobile web application intended for being used by undergraduate students as reference for their semestrial project in "Analysis and Design" university course (introductory course to software engineering). My task during phase of active development was to strictly follow project's specification to the teeth.I also provided technical support to students of University of Luxembourg (in English and French), as well as to students of Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University (in Russian), among other tasks.Implemented in Java8/Vaadin/MySQL.Black-box unit tests done in Vaadin TestBench.Documented in LaTeX.Packaged with Vagrant.

In the beginning I've worked in an entirely different domain of activity - restaurant business. I was a good dedicated worker and the experience was an enjoyable one to go through. I am deeply grateful to restaurant owners who employed me and provided me with a job. Every job is a path to mastery and an opportunity to grow.
