• Assigning tickets to employee’s / Pulling tickets for myself• Closing tickets – explaining troubleshooting resolutions or updating the ticket if needed to order a piece of hardware or another department example: (needs to add employee to exchange server).Meetings• Attending meetings (Daily or Weekly) to discuss the current project or daily issues / resolutions / fixes / progress / solutions.Creating - Imaging Computers• Creating / Setting up image – packages / installations with SCCM, GHOST Software before deployment to the computers Which images include OS the operating system, System Drivers for the model of the computer (make sure the most up to date drivers are in the image that don’t conflict with any special / additional hardware installed separately on the computer), software Per: department that is licensed for them like visual studio by Microsoft, Adobe Suite Exact. Microsoft Office Suite is usually one of the standard software that all the company’s computers install that doesn’t come with the OS.Trouble Shooting / Deploying Equipment• Remove all old equipment• Deploy / Connect / Test to make sure everything is operating properly.• Assist or have instructions for the client on how to login to the network, email, intranet, messenger, company software• Have all the printers attached and test to make sure they work properly and the default printer is configured.• Make sure all the network mappings are there and accessible and the personal network folder is accessible and any network folder that the employee need to access.• Make sure that the employee / user are completely and properly informed about the equipment and know to access all their folders and files and can perform their daily work.• Place orders for equipment, supplies for the project and all the daily items needed. Finish logging – notes daily work done, issues/ fixes that we run into.
