About Anton Potapov

I am ecologist investigating functioning and stability of food webs in soil and beyond. Together with colleagues worldwide we do global soil biodiversity monitoring to reveal biodiversity trends and link soil animal communities to functioning of terrestrial ecosystems. In our team we work on developing AI-based image analysis approaches for soil invertebrates and develop soil biodiversity data infrastructures. Creativity is my main driver.
