About Anton Venter

25 years of experience in the Construction, Civil and Aggregate industry has led my career to the forefront of Concrete and Civil Project Management. I worked in the opencast mining industry were we crushed sand and stone for the building industry. I was part of the development of the Gauteng freeway improvement for the 2010 soccer world cup and the building of the Gautrain. After which I focussed my career on the concrete and cement industries, applying my extensive knowledge and skills in the Civil Industry. This took me to Mozambique and Zimbabwe, where I trained the local people, sharing my knowledge and skills. As a Project Manager, I was responsible for 80 person labour force, and I was responsible for maintaining a group of 10 machines for earthworks, clearing, and building of roads and ensuring that all personnel on site conduct their duties to the highest possible standards and on time.Furthermore, I instruct and coach project staff regarding construction requirements and am responsible for assigning work, sourcing new suppliers for raw materials and equipment and demonstrating continuous efforts to improve operations, decrease turnaround times and streamline work processes.
