I started off my career as a leaner miner in 1988 and worked my way through the junior and middle ranks up until I was appointment as a mine overseer in 2009. I worked as a mine overseer for 5 years in Gold1/Harmony. Unfortunately, after a career of almost 26 years, Gold1/Harmony could not offer me a job due retrenchment processes. I then joined AngloGold Ashanti as a Shift Supervisor in 2014 to improve my knowledge and experience in deep level mining. In the industry, I have 29 years’ experience in Gold Production (mechanised, conventional and Reef Boring). I am Highly motivated hard worker, Safety is my first priority, and I Give 110% to your job.My career objective is to stay in the mine industry and complete my Manager Certificate, as mining is my passion and to continue acknowledging challenges and achieve deadlines.
