I have always liked to challenge the status quo: to improve on „what is“ and push the boundaries of „what could be‘“. 2017 led me deeply into the crypto rabbit hole. While I admittedly came for the money, I stayed for the revolution.Here is my WHY:The internet has created an information highway. It allows us to spread information and connect with others at unprecedented speed.We humans , we are neither the fastest nor the strongest creatures on earth. But we have one superpower: we can flexibly coordinate in large numbers.Yet, to hyper scale our ability to coordinate, we all need to have the same data to take decisions on. No one should be excluded (discrimination) and no one should just have to trust others to play by the rules (abuse of power). This is exactly what decentralized blockchains enable. This is what web3 and crypto should be all about.Truly disruptive innovations often face resistance and skepticism. This comes as no surprise, as they challenge established norms and the distribution of wealth and power. And sadly, they often attract crooks and scammers, further lending arguments to its critics. Web3 and crypto is no exception - they are often misunderstood, polarizing and breeding ground for scammers. My mission is to demystify this new digital world full of groundbreaking technological & (socio)-economic paradigms and help onboard the next 1 billion people into web3. To this end, I co-founded Fountainhead Digital and Crypto Wingmen.
