•Lead the Center’s NIH REACH (Research Evaluation and Commercialization Hub) designation to translate academic innovation into commercially relevant technologies that can support commercial partnerships and company formation. Responsible for managing a Technology Development Fund across four partner institutions including solicitation, due diligence, external review, and allocation of funding, as well as for the management of funded projects toward commercially relevant endpoints. Facilitate strategic partnerships and investment, and foster company formation as appropriate. •Lead the Center’s BARDA (Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority) accelerator designation toward sourcing and strategizing with ventures within the “solving sepsis” and infectious disease space (impacting national health security).•Lead the Center’s Center for Advanced Technology (CAT) designation toward identifying and aiding NY centric ventures progress through commercial milestone development and exits (includes Nasdaq and NYSE ventures). Includes leading the Center’s Applied Research and Development Fund (ARAD) which supports co-development of promising biomedical technologies in partnership with emerging NY State companies. Manage a team of 4 tech Technology & Business Development Associates toward the execution of the above programs.• Lead the Center’s Tech/BD/Partnerships GOST plan per year, defining a strategic framework with deliverables focused on increasing business partnerships, funding, and awareness.
