Seminar engagement with junior and high school students in the North Carolina Upward Bound Program. Specifically engaging in the poetry, prose, and fiction writing in The 1619 Project. This is a college-prep weekly experience in the critical thinking surrounding the timely topic of race, ethnicity, gender, and economics in the United States and how it relates to their collegiate aspirations.

Contributing Writer for the Conscience Magazine edition on Storytelling. Reviewed the book, Subversive Habits by historian Shannen Dee Williams, PhD. My review appears in the print and online version. The magazine released Volume 43. No. 1 came out in the wake of the May Leak and June overturning of Roe V. Wade. My review centered on the social, racial, and gender justice work of the Black Catholic Sisters which predated the period of time recorded as the Civil Rights Movement. Personally connected to this story through my mother's quest for higher education and my namesake and family member, Sister Mary Antona Ebo's lifelong work in justice.

Principal researcher for $253,000 health justice grant through the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to establish the Voices for Health Justice Project in Missouri. Worked closely with national partners to ideate health equity for African Americans. Was selected to be a part of the national evaluation committee to oversee the 30-month progress-to-goal results from the 24 selected projects. As part of the grant writing, I worked with two other Missouri non-profits, envisioned the Missouri project, established the new hire criteria, interviewed and onboarded project organizer. Freelance consulting project to brand, ideate, and create an identity for the seven schools in the district centered on creating an atmosphere of excellence and achievement for all the students. I sourced and interviewed potential subjects who are all alumni of the school district (2000-2015) and are either in college or in their careers. We specifically sought out diversity in ethnicity/race as well as diversity in school attendance, major, and career choice. End product includes posters, social media/web presence of a photo gallery as well as copy, and stretched fabric artistic renderings to be placed in high visibility areas throughout the school district.
