Contributing Writer for the Conscience Magazine edition on Storytelling. Reviewed the book, Subversive Habits by historian Shannen Dee Williams, PhD. My review appears in the print and online version. The magazine released Volume 43. No. 1 came out in the wake of the May Leak and June overturning of Roe V. Wade. My review centered on the social, racial, and gender justice work of the Black Catholic Sisters which predated the period of time recorded as the Civil Rights Movement. Personally connected to this story through my mother's quest for higher education and my namesake and family member, Sister Mary Antona Ebo's lifelong work in justice.

Principal researcher for $253,000 health justice grant through the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to establish the Voices for Health Justice Project in Missouri. Worked closely with national partners to ideate health equity for African Americans. Was selected to be a part of the national evaluation committee to oversee the 30-month progress-to-goal results from the 24 selected projects. As part of the grant writing, I worked with two other Missouri non-profits, envisioned the Missouri project, established the new hire criteria, interviewed and onboarded project organizer. We connect, challenge, change, create, and communicate opportunities to enhance understanding around issues of culture, race, and ethnicity in spaces where people meet.This included a special communications project with the Kirkwood School District to excite and engage students to think creatively about college. The poster project remained a part of the counseling department for several years featuring noted alumni.This tiny division is focused on coaching organizations in areas of cultural knowledge, fairness, equity, understanding, and inclusion. Using a variety of methods suited to the client's needs, the approach is collaborative, consultative, and in a coaching manner. Engagements include one-on-one coaching/training of high level officials such as principals, managers, and board directors. Other engagements include focus groups, training sessions, and communication strategies centered around equity, inclusion, fairness, and growth learning.We approach each project with 25 years of experience including conducting diversity training, managing a diverse staff, and engaging in change-focused conversations.
