My review appears in the print and online version. The magazine released Volume 43. No. 1 came out in the wake of the May Leak and June overturning of Roe V. Wade. My review centered on the social, racial, and gender justice work of the Black Catholic Sisters which predated the period of time recorded as the Civil Rights Movement. Personally connected to this story through my mother's quest for higher education and my namesake and family member, Sister Mary Antona Ebo's lifelong work in justice.
