Role on the Bradford & Bingley account :-- Key member of the team for the IBM Corporate Audit of the IBM server security on the Bradford and Bingley account- Implement Audit actions- Review and approve Solution Architecture Documents.- Feed effort estimates into project managers for costing and Statements of Work.- Support of IBM Solution Centre environment as per previous role- Collate the Harmful Code KPIs

Role on the Bradford & Bingley account:-- Ensure the smooth running of the IBM Solution Center environment (120+ Windows servers, the majority hosted on ESX 3.5 servers), installing, building, upgrading, patching and decommissioning servers as appropriate.- Ensure the environment meets the IBM Security Compliance requirements without sacrificing functionality.- Manage customer resource requirements, providing the client with a high quality service.- Design and implementation of Bradford and Bingley File and Print Clusters- Collaborate with Project managers to provide additional support on projects.- Provide support for the ageing Token Ring Infrastructure.- Ensured currency and gathered statistics for Harmful Code (Symantec AntiVirus) KPIs

Role on the Arcadia account:-- To manage the monthly Server Health checking service ensuring provision of reliable data on time.- To provide advice to facilitate the updating of the IBM/Arcadia Wintel security compliance documentation- To plan and implement the move of the security Health Checking regime to a partially automated solution

Role on the Bradford & Bingley account:-- Management, maintenance and support of Windows NT 4 and OS/2 servers- Building of servers to facilitate the rollout of new operating systems (migrate OS/2 to Windows NT4 and Novell 5)- Patching of Wintel estate- Manage the monthly Server Security Health checking service ensuring provisioning of reliable data on time- 2nd and 3rd Level Wintel support- Support of the Token Ring Infrastructure- Support connectivity to IBM Mainframe

Role:-- Maintenance of Novell and OS/2 servers- Installation of new servers and removal of defunct ones- 2nd Level Wintel support- Install and Support of the Token Ring Network

Role:-- Provide deskside support for Windows 3 and DOS environment connected to Novell Netware (2.1x & 3.11) servers, AS/400s and HP3000s- Roll out new Novell servers and upgrade older ones.
