I principally guide this consulting firm, providing the full scope of engineering and qualification services, including building design & review with the intent to commission and qualify, building and space pressurization, precision temperature and humidity control, functional layout, FDA validated mechanical & control systems, contamination control, indoor air quality, and cGMP compliance, primarily for clients in the regulated sectors of pharmaceuticals, biotech, foods, and manufacturing. ► Converted former bank into intensive outpatient facility for Relevance Behavioral Health, Freehold, NJ. Led field survey and developed architectural, mechanical, electrical, and structural construction drawings.► Provided HVAC subject matter expertise for Baxter Healthcare: gap analysis of 44 critical systems, detailed calculations and architectural floor plans for HVAC designs, HVAC IOQ review, and HVAC zoning diagram and pressure cascades for all critical HVAC systems within 1.4M sq. ft. facility.► Part of the team that led the deployment of electrical circuit sensors, transmitters, and bridges for Direct Energy, and conducted data analysis for energy, power, trending, identifying electrical signature patterns of critical or maintenance-sensitive equipment, and opportunities to reduce utility consumption.► Conducted neon therapeutics gap analysis for OSDV Engineering, to manufacture custom peptide-based neoantigen vaccines for oncology clinical trials. Evaluated building envelope infiltration, HVAC, warehouse, future installation of chillers and chilled water loop. Also surveyed Cell 1 & Cell 2, and assessed research lab facility conversion into cGMP manufacturing space.► Managed project to design and execute CGMP nitrogen and vacuum system upgrade for GE Healthcare, as well as construction phasing implementation and commissioning development and execution.

This role centered on procuring, estimating, designing, and producing plans and specifications for architectural and engineering clients including hospitals, commercial businesses, condo associations, building owners, and construction contractors. I assessed legacy MEP systems and architecture, and designed new systems, specializing in HVAC for critical applications ,where strict conformance for pressure control, humidity, and temperature. I routinely conducted this work in occupied facilities. Also, I principally liaised between healthcare facilities and Joint Commission to resolve deficiencies.► Steered MEP, structural, and architectural projects valued at up to $200K, which encompassed field investigation, analysis, design, and development of plans and specifications, generating commissioning testing documents, and leading construction management.► Orchestrated architectural and MEP concept planning for the Center of Great Expectations medical and residential center. I led the HVAC department of this architectural and engineering consulting firm, which specialized in science and technology expertise for clients in academia and labs. My scope encompassed technical direction, specification, and standard detail compliance and update, calculations and deliverables review, concept evaluation review, and peer reviews. I also scheduled labor, with cost-effectiveness in mind. I interfaced with clients.► Instrumentally contributed to initial client meetings, marketing wins, field surveys, and conceptual design of projects: NY Red Bulls Stadium, University of Connecticut Blousfield psychology and animal labs, DEA prototype facilities third party engineering review & commissioning, and multiple Unilever agile office work spaces.► Provided technical support for project oversight including Columbia University Medical Center (CUMC) Hammer Building floor 17 CO6 Grant, CUMC Rosenfield building floors 17 & 18, and NY Presbyterian Hospital Gamma Camera.► Diagnosed and resolved issues, redesigned problem projects, and interfaced with clients at facilities including FBI computer data center, Pocatello, ID; CUMC Columbia Black Bldg. 20 renovation BSL-3; FMC biotech and dust collection systems; NY Food Lab OGS dust collection equipment and system. ; and Walter Reed NAVY and ARMY Hospital.► Defined department objectives, one of which translated project management project fee reports to benchmark projects to demonstrate fee split of budgeted and actuals, to accurately represent scope development and deliverables with reasonable budget hour expectations.► Upleveled project accountability by instituting HVAC QC checklist for signing and sealing drawings, segregated into SD, DD & CD expectations, adopted for HDR QC program as worldwide policy .► Instituted rigorous multi-discipline cross-training program to grow department, with little to no budget. With this engineering consulting firm, I was managing the mechanical department, serving clients in pharmaceuticals and manufacturing. I responded to RFPs and conducted client presentations to win new projects. My role also involved providing technical direction, reviewing calculations and deliverables, scheduling manpower, providing proposals with schedules, manpower estimates and cost estimates, developing concepts, basis of designs, client interface for project deliverables, and leading staff. ► Directed facilities and infrastructure support projects for BMS, including turbine static profile, routing of new steam mains & structural piping analysis, multiple chiller and pump additions to central utility plant, and potent lab design. ► Conducted detailed design of Wyeth’s new syringe packaging line. Also led manufacturing HVAC evaluation of pressurization, converted lab & manufacturing space to office space, and developed basis of design and detailed design for R&D labs.► Performed series of laboratory equipment additions for Pfizer, requiring evaluation of existing infrastructure and HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection upgrades.

This positioned centered on directing $130M in projects for the Kenilworth manufacturing and revalidation initiatives. Project portfolio encompassed a new $65M tablet coating including a USP-purified water system; an interim 8-coating pan suite with ovens requiring retrofit of an existing USP purified water system; replacement of the high-rise warehouse HVAC and control systems to incorporate even air distribution and qualification of mean kinetic temperature mapping; remediation, replacement and qualification of all manufacturing, QC of associated system impacts to adjacent air handler systems, control systems and miscellaneous process and support equipment. I oversaw up to 20 simultaneous projects, coordinating design, schedules, construction, and dollar allocations for changes. I was also the site municipal liaison on projects. I managed 75 staff.► Managed project to build $65M Class 100,000 GMP Tablet Coating Facility, including process scale “pilot” coating suites in existing space. Led design, construction & start-up, through qualification of HVAC systems, controls, equipment, and USP-purified water systems.► Steered $9M Class 100,000 GMP R&D facility upgrade, including dust collection systems, dehumidifiers, laboratory fume hoods, bag-in bag-out HEPA air supply systems, coating pans, tray dryers, & clean steam generation.► Provided expertise on Schering’s Quality Review Board evaluating qualification documents for compliance and ability to adequately challenge the system in question, accessing and approving all utility impacts of proposed and executed work for the manufacturing site for HVAC systems, packaging lines, and process utilities.► Integrally contributed to structuring Change Control System for Kenilworth and Union facilities. Addressed FDA 483 responses for the HVAC and water systems. Presented to the FDA and answered all questions regarding the HVAC protocols for format and technical content.
