Senior Software Engineer
CurrentAs a Backend Software Engineer on the Seller Onboarding team, I contributed to the internationalization of the marketplace, standardizing the registration process across all markets and successfully expanding into Italy and Portugal. To achieve this, I was part of the team that developed the version 2 of the seller registration form. This involved the creation of a new REST API with endpoints for initial registration, enabling sellers to input necessary information and complete the registration process.Currently, I am a valuable member of the Product Data Onboarding team, streamlining processes for both sellers and the internal Product Data Management team. Within this role, I have made significant contributions to various projects. Firstly, I played a key role in the microservices separation of the monolithic PIM project, developing a shared library with entities for use by various extracted microservices. Successfully, I extracted the first microservice responsible for parsing product data files uploaded by sellers. I also played a crucial role in the development of a tool allowing sellers to export their product data to an Excel file, providing them with the opportunity to enhance their data, such as adding new target markets, and re-upload it to our platform.Lastly, I contributed to the development of a new microservice designed to automatically validate product data uploaded by sellers. This service rejects products that do not meet minimum requirements, significantly reducing the manual workload of the department responsible for reviewing product data. This enhancement has not only improved efficiency but also enhanced the quality of feedback reports received by sellers. As a personal project, I developed a Machine Learning model for automatically validating the main images of products.
