As Secretary of the AVS it has allowed me to be part of a committee on a national scale which represents all vet students across the U.K. and Ireland. I have gained invaluable skills and opportunities working in this role and I am sad after four years to be leaving this wonderful committee.

As Senior Representative I am the main link between the AVS and the University of Surrey. The Association of Veterinary Students aim is to holistically support veterinary students throughout their studies, represent their views and interests and engage them in the wider issues of the profession.

As AVS Junior Representative for the University, I speak for the Veterinary Students here at Surrey. This ranges from welfare concerns to the impact of current geopolitical scenarios on the veterinary profession.
