Provides reference and reader advisory services to patrons, in person and online through askHCPL and My Next Reads.Plans, organizes, and executes adult programs such as the Community Yarn Exhibit, Fun for All Abilities, and ebooks & more workshop.Partners with outside organizations to present adult programs, such as the Henrico Economic Development Authority, Alzheimer’s Association of Richmond, and the Kuumba AA Quilt Guild. Schedules and instructs computer classes, such as Computer Basics: Keyboard & Mouse, Internet Basics, and Microsoft Office programs. Promotes and markets library services and collections through handouts and displays.Coordinates collection management duties including weeding, book repair, and requesting inventory with staff members.Supervises library staff as assigned, such as interns and new library staff members.Assumes the responsibilities of the person in charge when the need arises.Submits and monitors ILL requests.
