A challenging assignment due to the application being used in about 30 countries all over the world, while at Euler Hermes business units have quite some freedom in defining its products and business processes. The application, based on Pluriform, mainly focussed on policy administration and claims&collections, while interfacing this key data with most other Euler Hermes applications.My daily activities consisted of- Information analysis- Impact analysis, design and implementation of requests for change.- Coming up with proposals for improvement, both technical and functional- Training and supporting the development team (development support)- Contact person for our software supplier (Pluriform Software) o Translating EH needs into requests for change. o Discussing needs and solutions in close cooperation with them. o Reporting production issues, aligning and testing the solution o Analysing the impact of changes in the Kernel on Euler Hermes.My expertise was mainly:- Document Management (correspondence, distribution, templates, archiving)- Webservice framework (SOA architecture)- Process definitions (workflow framework)- Database design- Performance tuning- Authorisation- Reduction of disk space consumption Show less
