* Write and review technical/economical bidding for tender processes. * Develop conceptual and basic engineering. * Write and review technical assessment and troubleshooting reports. * Define and review Project’s Scope and WBS.* Assemble and lead teams of qualify professionals for each discipline required by projects. * Coordinate and control project’s schedules and budgets * Review project deliverables according to program and quality standards

* Perform process energy audits and write technical proposals for customers, identifying areas of opportunity to reduce energy consumption.* Develop basic engineering and profitable projects to reduce energy consumption, including process design with integrated cogeneration systems.* Apply pinch analysis for debottlenecking processes heat transfer and optimize heat exchanger networks.* Development of quality control systems for energy savings through statistical techniques and Six Sigma philosophy.

* Carry out mass and energy balance calculations and keep track of plant’s K.P.I, issuing monthly reports appointing areas of improvement for 2 x 1800MTPD ammonia plants.* Performance evaluation, system troubleshooting and process modeling for heat exchangers, steam reformers, steam turbines, centrifugal pumps and compressors through using simulation software (Hysys/Unisim) and spreadsheet tools.* Monitor reactor performance and catalyst activity along with catalyst specialists, providing remaining life assessment to technical management.* Work as part of multidisciplinary teams performing root cause analysis.* Develop conceptual engineering and verify detail engineering for plant upgrades and revamps.* Take part of plant’s surveys and turnaround activities, exchanging information with process licensors and technology suppliers in order to improve plant performance and reliability.

* Participate in DCS and plant’s field technician training program, performing daily routine field check and operating parameters adjustment for 2 ammonia plants.* Familiarize with plant DCS architecture and basic user configuration, getting experience in plant control philosophy and tuning parameters for main automatic controllers. Practice in Operator Training Simulator (OTS). * Participate in field operations during plant turnaround, commissioning, safety shutdown and startup procedures; supervising maintenance and inspection for heat exchangers, steam boilers, steam reformers, steam turbines, centrifugal compressors and catalyst replacement and reduction.
