Once upon a time, before California Closets…I began my career in the construction field building custom homes for a large company on the East Coast.After years of hands-on experience,I was promoted to the position of Project Manager.Continuing my construction career,but this time with more responsibilities and new challenges. In the year 2000,I moved to California and accepted a position as Plant Supervisor.I ran a crew of approximately 100 out of the 400 + employees,for one of the largest modular building manufacturing companies in Southern California.I was afforded the opportunity to work directly with many dealers (customers) in the position of Customer Service Manager.After a few years I accepted a new challenge,this time in sales.That turned out to be a very successful endeavor,with sales ranging from 100K to 500k a month. Meanwhile,I was responsible for managing every project I sold,from the RFQ to the final inspection and acceptance of the customer.In 2009,I left the company to start my own general contracting business,which ran successfully for 2 years.With this company,I managed modular building installations on military bases,in Southern California (29 Palms USMC,Miramar,Camp Pendleton)I also worked on various residential projects in Riverside County and Orange County.In 2012,I joined the California Closets team, and went through a training program. Covering all aspects of the business: installation,design,sales,and pre-production(CAD).In this dynamic position,I was able to utilize my previous AutoCAD experience,along with my Project and Business Management skills.I worked with a talented core group.I was entrusted with challenging,and exciting tasks,such as: reviewing designs prior to manufacturing,working with designers and the production team,to help provide a seamless experience for our customers.I now strive to grow and make a difference as a Design Consultant,in the success of this GREAT California Closets Franchise.
