It is a complex game in which the winner is the one who makes the fewer mistakes.- In order to decrease the number of mistakes over time, a player has to metabolize two important aspects:1) The mathematical/strategic aspect (expected value, variance, equity, Minmax criterion, optimal value/bluff ratios, unexploitable decision theory etc. etc.)2) The behavioral aspect (biases induced by stress, fear and greed, bankroll management, intuitive intelligence, discipline, stop losses etc. etc.)In order to become a professional player, both are necessary, but none of them separately is sufficient.Poker has been studied in the field of Applied Mathemathics and in Computer Science, but even in Psychology field.Recently, the advancement of Artificial Intelligence, the conseguential rise of online bots, and the abrupt increase of online room's rake, has provoked a reduction of margins for an human professional player.In July 2019, Pluribus, an AI Bot built by Facebook's AI Lab and Carnegie Mellon University, beat humans professional players for the first time in a 6 max table.
