Antonio Coronato is a full professor at the Università degli Studi Giustino Fortunato -Telematica.He has been s senior researcher at the Institute for High Performance Computing and Networking of the National Research Council of Italy.He has been Adjunct Professor for more than a decade and has led courses of Software Engineering (Faculty of Computer Engineering at the University of Naples “Federico II”), Information Systems and Object Oriented Programming (Faculty of Computer Engineering of the Second University of Naples). Antonio Coronato is author of more than 100 papers published in international journals and conference proceedings. He is currently Co-Editor in Chief of the Springer Journal of Reliable Intelligent Environments. He has organized Special Issues for Journals like ACM Transactions on Autonomous and Adaptive Systems, ACM Transactions on Embedded Systems, IEEE Journal of Biomedical and Health Informatics, etc. He has also organized several international conferences and workshops. He is Technical Officer (TO) and Reviewer of research projects on behalf of the Italian Ministry of Economic Development and the Ministry of Education, Universities and Research. Antonio Coronato has been working in the field of ICT for Healthcare since 2005. He has been Scientific Responsible and Project Manager of projects on Ambient Assisted Living, Telemedicine and Tele-monitoring. He has been member of the Italian branch of Health Level Seven (HL7). He conducts research activities in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Self-Learning Systems and Quality Assurance.
