Our team had the objective to develop a crewed human exploration architecture of Mars that can enable astronauts to survive on the surface of Mars for at least seven years with minimal support from Earth- Designed and collaborated with Biology and Materials majors to create: - The S-HAB C Biology Laboratory capable of Botanic, Neurocognitive, Zoologic, Immunologic, and Microbiotic research. - The S-HAB G and α MGAAMA hydroponic centers which served as the primary source of nutrition for the astronauts utilizing modular hydroponic racks for ease of use and production. On June 15th, 2023 we presented in Cocoa Beach, Florida and received Second Place Overall in the competition; Our project now becoming a published paper.
