Responsible the preventive maintenance activities for production equipment as well as spare parts control. Maintain control of a maintenance budget and the personnel assigned to the maintenance activities. Maintain all equipment at a level which assures high uptimes.

Responsible for a team of 12 engineers developing machines and processes to improve production performance and to provide viable equipment for new products.Coordinate activities related to quality and process engineering functions. Including: documentation of current and new process, process approval, new process design, support in product failure analysis, process and machine troubleshooting. All activities using tools such as: FMEA, PPA, MEDIC (problem solving technique). Head of technical support activities for production lines as well as technical training activities. Head of a team of 4 technical trainers and 4 technical support engineers. Provided technical support in China and Korea.

Coordinate activities that provide a consistent supply of production materials and NPR goods, assuring that suppliers deliver on time, complying with specifications and at market level prices. Supplier development activities are the basis of achieving levels of cooperation towards attaining departmental and factory goals. Projects held with other plants worldwide have brought benefits. Also, coordinate the procurement of materials and NPR goods in team effort with 4 buyers, considering logistical issues such as customs, land/sea/air transport, etc. Responsible also for the data management of the SAP Purchasing Module. SAP Site Champion for the Monterrey Plant.

Responsible for the introduction of new products on plant brown field project. Daily support to production quality needs. Drive root cause analysis for product defects and Product Quality Reports.

Teaching Design & Analysis of Experiments to undergraduate students in diverse engineering fields.

RA at the Tec de Monterrey Quality Center. Focused primarily in training materials in the areas of TQM, TPM, SPC, QFD, and Hoshin Kanri.
