Took just over a year off and spent my time travelling. During my travels I attended many Formula 1 races including Australia, Malaysia, and several throughout Europe. I then settled in northern Italy for a period and took up a role within Iveco

Account Manager for a Motor Finance Credit Brokerage offering a service to the motor trade. After a few years in this role, I was appointed a director and together with my 2 partners, we set up a second finance company where we became lenders in our own right. At the time of joining the company, we were lending approx 100k per month (brokerage only) which by the time I left had increased to approx 800k brokerage and 100k financed through our own book. In December 2003, I sold my share of the business to follow my dream of travelling the world to watch Formula 1.
