Systems Architect for the integration of Global Command and Control System-Integrated Intelligence Information (GCCS-I3) and Distributed Common Ground/Surface System – Navy (DCGS-N).Designed, implemented, tested, and deployed an iPhone app used to locate Persons of Interest within a longitude, latitude and area of interest on a Google map. Each pin dropped on the map represented a person of interest (e.g. terrorist) and intelligence data of a person was revealed upon touching the pin on the map. A REST web service was used to return the Persons of Interest data based on the location.Presented several papers on using SAML/Single Sign On across multiple application servers, including WebLogic and JBoss. The presentations were provided to a wide audience consisting of technical and non-technical attendees.Implemented a Single Sign On solution between two application servers using Spring Security and creating a SAML-based Spring Security module.Designed and prototyped a handful of GCSS-I3 scenarios from the full-blown GCSS-I3 application using the Ozone Widget Framework. An Ozone widget is a global description for a piece of web content that can be used in a specified layout (e.g. portal, accordion, tabbed, etc). Software EngineerProject: Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Integrated Spectrum Auction system (ISAS) • Served as a technical web architect/programmer for the Integrated Spectrum Auction System (ISAS) at the FCC’s Wireless Telecommunications Bureau. • Developed and maintained the core web-based Bidding system, the Inter Round Processing application, and the War Room View application. • Performed corrections and enhancements to the Bidding application code by correcting and creating Java Server Pages (JSPs), session beans, Sybase stored procedures, JavaScript, and Java code.• Provided CMMI guidance to define the technical solutions process area and procedures to assist with Computech’s CMMI Level 3 efforts. • Instrumental in using analytical tools to process historical data with project parameters to produce accurate project estimates

Project: Export-Import Bank of the United States Business Automation ProjectDesigned, coded, and tested Core Java and J2EE components using the WebSphere 5.1 application server. Used the Unified Modeling Language (UML), Gang of Four Design Patterns, and Core J2EE patterns to produce and document the application architecture. Developed SQL and PL/SQL code using Oracle9i. Developed the project’s Training Program, Project Plan, Configuration Management Plan, Decision Analysis and Resolution Plan, Risk Management Plan, Stakeholders Involvement Plan, Engineering Plan, Peer Review Plan, Resource Planning worksheet, Supplier Agreement Management Plan, and Measurement and Analysis Plan. Planned and participated in all Project Peer Reviews. Collected core project metrics including: Quantity of Function (measured in terms of source lines of code), Productivity, Time, Effort, and Reliability. Used Quantitative Software Management’s (QSM) SLIM product suite for Project Control, Project Estimation, and Metrics Collection. Took the project from being 22% CMMI Maturity Level 3 to 75% CMMI Maturity Level 3 in 6 months. Currently programming the site using WebLogic Server • Was the Lead Software Architect and key developer for the Army National Simulation Center's Run Time Manager Developed primarily in "C", C++, Java, and PL/SQL, following an object-oriented architecture, the Run Time Manager employs multiple platforms (Sun, Vax, PC) and uses multiple networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, DecNet), to receive, transform, and transmit data among a wide variety of systems.
