 Acted as area lead for the CNP 2023 campaign and assigned a training plan to the upstream team for the 2023 campaign with the support of the shift supervisor.  Established myself as a primary trainer in CNP and RavPal-Peg production for new and temp hires.  SME on all day/swings shift operations for PEG upstream process dealing with TFF/UFDF skids.  Provided real time feedback to on the floor staff and supervisor as a needed for overall team development. Identified individual staff members and trained the staff to prepare them for major contributions to teams such as the equipment, logbook, and 5s teams.  Acted as POC for troubleshooting of Bioreactors/Centrifuge/Homogenizer/TFF/UFDF skids in upstream areas as well as supporting recipe testing when needed. Participated in representing upstream for logbook ordering improvement project, Oracle OBM improvement project, and supporting the Boost initiative programs for upstream swings shift.

 Responsible for day-to-day Cell Culture and PEG operations for CNP and Rav-pal campaigns. Communicated MFG production issues related to Cell Culture and Peg operations to support teams to troubleshoot and facilitate repairs. SME on all Galli North media and buffer prep operations for upstream.  Prepared the upstream team by achieving 100 percent completion of OTJs associated with buffer/media prep for all day shift upstream team members. Coordinated the upstream team to routinely turn in MFG equipment for calibrations, preventative maintenance and repair of broken equipment using CMMS. Coordinated the upstream team to perform weekly reviews of logbook and turn in of logbooks to QADC, in adherence with BioMarin SOPs and GxP documentation. Facilitated as the primary trainer and SME for Manufacturing on support systems such as PRIMR, PI, LIMS.

 Responsible for day-to-day preparation of media and buffers used for cell culture processing and purification processing across three different production facilities. Part of the newest Manufacturing Process Support teams dedicated to improving and facilitating current good manufacturing, clinical, and lab practices.  Comply with all FDA and state mandated cleaning and sanitation practices. CIP/SIP procedures. Followed all SOP’s, and job aids to ensure proper manufacturing of all pharmaceuticals across three different facilities. Provided a training introduction to the new hire cohorts for gowning and material flow, welding equipment, and pH/condo meters. Created OPL’s related to manufacturing safety and production issues and call outs needed as issues arose.

In my role as Utilization Management, I lead a team of 3 in keeping our patient files and clinical files up to date in order to acquire payment from various private and public insurances. This required attention to detail as well as confidentiality of critical patient information. I would also be responsible for reviewing audits and denials. Constant communication was required in order to effectively manage and appeal all denied payments as a team. The work in our department would require effective time management and work priority would change to meet different deadlines for audits and denials.

Aside from my duties as a CSR/Data Entry, I was also responsible for the coordination of oxygen testing units. This included all the initial CSR duties and responsibilities but with more follow through of testing and prescriptions for oxygen. This required constant contact with the patient and doctors office as well as delivery drivers to assure the delivery of testing units were completed. Testing was performed on about 35-55 patients on a monthly basis, so proper tracking of logistics was crucial. Testing would be performed in home or in more severe cases with a 3rd party referral source.

Responsible for input of personal and clinical information of medical equipment orders. The CSR would be responsible for the initial contact of the patient as well as the referral source to make them aware of order placed. Once contacted the CSR will check eligibility and benefits of the patients insurance plan to determine coverage. Once coverage was determined, delivery accommodations can be made for the equipment. If there was not enough information or incorrect information was sent for order, it would be the CSR's job to contact and follow up with the MD office and referral until all documents have been obtained.

Worked with my supervisor in order to resupply all areas of the kitchen and pantry for the UC Davis Coffee House. Would also help employee with customer service and food handling.

Performed phylogenetic analysis of wild tomato plants to discover genes involved in drought tolerance. Assisted in DNA extraction and PCR analysis. Assisted in preparing samples for digest and testing as well as general upkeep of laboratory supplies and cleaning of lab equipment and stations.
