The Stromnes laboratory is focused on advancing the understanding of cancer immunology and immunotherapy in pancreatic cancer, with a particular emphasis on properties of the tumor and the tumor microenvironment that influence antigen-specific T lymphocyte migration and function.My current project focuses on using immunofluorescence imaging to investigate the interaction and proximity between neutrophils and CD8 T cells within pancreatic tumors in our orthotopic mouse model, where immunotherapy activates tumor-specific CD8 T cells.

Integrated Metabolism is a student organization at the University of Minnesota which aims to educate and inform ourselves about important lifestyle health topics such as diet, sleep, and exercise, and expand our knowledge on these topics through reading and discussing primary research
