Serves in the DOL’s Emergency Operations Center performs planning and execution of emergency operations as well as a wide range of policy analytics, implementation, and monitoring in support of the Department of Labor Emergency Management Center. •Focal point of active daily monitoring of the operational environment by tracking and evaluating events occurring through a wide variety of Federal, State, local, and private sector information sources, providing situational awareness and notifications to the DOL agencies and regions during the various phases of emergency operations. •Analysis and interprets the data gathered and make a determination of the appropriate stakeholders for receipt. •Ability to quickly engage key systems germane to the EM domain is critical. These systems include HSIN, HSIN COP, other situation awareness tools, etc.• Directly supports the EOC Chief to establish work priorities, assignments, and reviews. Ensure requirements are satisfactorily processed and answered.• Manages and operates the Department's Emergency Operations Center (EOC) which provides situational awareness and functions as the information conduit for the Department during emergencies under the general supervision and programmatic management of the Chief, Emergency Operations Center.
