- Team Leader, reporting directly to the EMEA directors and other IPG teams in the US.- Review of monthly reporting deliverables, Financial Statement reviews (US GAAP), monitoring of SOX Business Internal Controls, risk assesment reviews and ensuring compliance with Corporate Policies of the assigned markets.- Regular visits throughout the region (EMEA).- Support and coordination with external auditors.- Performing "ad hoc" projects such as due diligences, implementation of new policies and control procedures.

- SOX Area Controller for UK & Ireland.- Responsible for controlling and accounting reviews of advertising agencies within the UK region combined with regular visits to the different markets in order to perform detailed reviews of the Agency´s control environment and SOX compliance.- Analyzing month end and quarterly figures and deviations, and reviewing different deliverables of the IPG reporting package.- Providing management with ad hoc analysis and support to Agency controllers as needed.- Supporting Agencies controllers in US GAAP policies and procedures, SOX controls and IPG policies.- Identifying Agencies risks and designing tests to mitigate these risks.- Coordination with other IPG departments such as Contract Compliance, Tax and Reporting.- Vantage / SAP. Financial information is pulled out and reviewed while performing financial analysis.

Awarded with a rotation program to IPG's HQ's in NYC. During this fascinating period I became an active part of the network's controlling team, learning the entrails of this publicity giant from its source at 909 Third Avenue (NY).

- SOX Area Controller for Middle East (UAE, Saudi, Qatar, Bahrain, Egypt, Lebanon, Kuwait, Algeria, Tunisia) & South Africa. - Performing financial reviews of cluster´s agencies on site. One to two monthly trips to the EMEA advertising agencies to carry out financial audits.- Supporting agencies controllers in US GAAP policies and procedures, SOX controls and IPG policies. Specialized in US GAAP policies and principles.- Reviewing in a monthly basis the financial closures, KPI´s, monthly budget variances and revenue growth.- Collaborating with other IPG departments within the RCT (Business Controls, Contract & Credit Compliance, Reporting).

- Lead, design and manage audit processes for medium and large sized entities (specially in Telecomunication, Entertainment, Media & Info sector), supervising team members, meeting deadlines and schedules compliance.- Planning, developing and supervising financial and reporting audits under local GAAP and US GAAP.- Ensure that external and internal processes run efficiently and comply with established finance policies and Sarbanes Oxley legislation.- Preparing and reviewing financial statements and reporting packages.- Managed various teams of junior auditors, including their training and coordination.- Business process reviews to evaluate the design and operating efectiveness of internal controls over the business cycles, as well as to identify weaknesses or potential risks.- Oversee the completion of client´s annual financial statements and company´s reports in compliance with local GAAP and US GAAP and internal accounting policies.- Coordination witn other PwC departments.- Providing practical recommendations to clients to improve efficiency and accounting procedures.- Most important clients: Vodafone and Bertelsmann Group.
