• Responsible for energy management and all wholesale activity in power for the company including financial & physical management of the client’s power portfolios located in Switzerland and Germany • Optimize and manage the market exposure of single Portfolios and managing the volume & price risk (risk mapping, market trends analysis and hedging strategy execution) including the development and implementation of automated hedge-models for customer. • Trading and analyzing commodity markets, European power market specifically. • Operating balancing group management (Swissgrid and German TSO’s) including spot trading, schedule management and balancing group billing. • Participation to valuation of asset investment projects (new power plant projects, partnering cooperation’s) • Risk management (VaR, M2M), Trading Reports, portfolio-process optimization and forward price curve modeling. • Monitoring of market trends and the national and European regulatory framework and identification of possible scenarios.
